Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am
the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you
awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft
stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die.

It's been two years already and here we are again remembering Samuel's all inclusive and examplary
ways. Samuel was a good amakari, a patient and reasoning one. Mostly he respected everybody, no matter who
because he had a strong belief in the equality of human beings and he had unconditional love for all those who
persevered in their struggle and stood by their principles. He is an eternal beacon for all those who had the
advantage and the priviledge of knowing him. Let me acknowledge one of the philosophers by saying : "The
unexamined life is not worth living", Samuel made a difference for all those whose life he happened to
cross.

Thank you very much for launching a foundation for Samuel who devoted his whole life for the realization of
united, democratic and prosperious Erthiopia.

Thanks to everyone who has worked on making this site so moving.
I remember Sam in his college years as
a patient teacher, with a good sense of humor and a generous spirit. He knew how to build ties with a lot of
people from various backgrounds, including me... I miss him a lot.

Greeting.
It is good to know how Samuel Alemayehu, my dear brother and loyal friend is loved and
appreciated by the very people that he has always cared for. True love and respect for the good already
expressed can never suffer sorrow or death. Samuel has always been a very modest, God fearing and decent man.
I am so greatful to God for keeping Samuel Alemayehu, his servant undefiled by evil intent or mad ambitions.
All Samuel's friends and family members know how much he has always been deeply concerned for the
freedom of the Ethiopian masses and all creatures. To Samuel, it is a privilege to care for others and to live
for the glory of Truth (God),but this natural responsiblity and duty is never a grievious burdon to be shun by
him. So, Samuel, our friend is blessed of life to be able express such goodness and justice of God daily, in
his own personal life. Samuel never had heart related problem for his God given heart has always been full of
compassion and love. As a Christian vegan and a practicing Christian Scientist, I do not personally believe
that there can be any death to those, who are in Christ Jesus. For our Big brother and truest friend, King
Jesus is the soul and the substance or the very life of the created world. All things in the world has always
been about the honor and the victory of Lord Jesus's God and all is made harmonious for the Son's
sake and not for the sake of the human race. For this reason we are sure today that Samuel too is with the
Lord, doing God's good will for him, in glory.
Once, when I could reunite with Samuel in California
and managed to spend quality times with him, he being always considerate of others and helpful of my Christian
vegan faith, only ate and drank vegan products with me but never indulged the false appetites, during our stay
together. And that showed me how self controlled and an easy to get along with person God has made Samuel to
be. In fact, while we were still in California we talked about diffrent burning issues and concerning the
suffering animals of the world Samuel expressed heart felt concern and said that it was not fair to lord it
over the innocent animals. Somehow even then Samuel already knew what was not fair was never right and could
not be justified nor be tolerated in any society. That is why we too must obey God's commandements and
love the Ethiopian animals and other suffering beings daily and seek relief and rest for them, in Christ
Jesus, their liberator. No human being has a lasting goodness of his own to keep or to share with others, but
when we adher to Christ Jesus to the last, as we all must the Lord's immutable holiness can help us to
make the right moves and do the right things always. The Ethipian masses too that Samuel and all the
progressive people have been eager to encourage and help cannot be emancipated or heald by any other method,
means or power but only by the way of the Christian Vegan and Christian Science God, that administers justice.
Ethiopia and all countries already have an everlasting King, the living Christ Jesus therefore we will all do
better if we join hands together and serve God, in the Lord's own term, under the leadership of the one
universal Christian Church. However, we cannot help ourselves, the poor, the animals and our loved ones if we
do not try to bring them closer to the saving, reforming, reviving, healing and forgiving Holy Spirit. I thank
the Mother/Father God daily for giving me Samuel Alemayehu as a brother and a friend, in Christ Jesus. Because
Samuel is enriching my life and helping me to be a cheerful and hopeful individual as he himself has always
been. Today I urge all Samuel's friends and family membes to remain positive and to embrace the Christian
Vegan and Christian Science faith in order to be able live together in peace and lasting love with all
creatures, under the leadership of our redeemer, Christ Jesus, so we all can serve and please only God always
and not be taken advantage of the devil, which seeks to destroy God's creatures on earth.

God be our
King forever. Amen.Smile

I just knew about this trajic death of a friend yesterday during the annual prayer at Medhanealem Church in
Maryland.

Took me awhile to remember as we were split since 1977 (Red Terror).

We worked together at A.
Besse Co., in Addis Abeba Ethiopia in the early '70's.

I am so sad! and never knew he was living
in the same State. what a loss!

He was a gallant Ethiopian and well ahead of our times. This is a loss for
Ethiopia and Africa. Not many like him around us.

Lord bless his soul.
Rest in peace big brother Samuel.
You did your share with excellence.

Worku Seifu/former A.BESSE CO. employee.

Thank you for creating such a moving website. Samuel is a beacon and will ever be as long as we remember his
all inclusive and principled ways.
